Cabanas Copal Tulum is more than a normal beach hotel, it's a truly ecological resort for a different kind of vacation. The Cabanas Copal are built on the edge of the Jungle on a beautiful stretch of white beach in the rustic Tulum Hotel Zone. They are lit by candle and don't have electricity, although they do have private bathrooms with running water. All the Cabanas are steps away from the beach and they are all cooled by the fresh ocean breeze. It's a regular occurrence to have Iguanas and the like sunbathing outside your room, so this cabana resort is not for those who are adverse to nature and wildlife.
Cabanas Copal in Tulum is the perfect chance to escape from the routine of everyday life and get back to nature. You can enjoy many traditional Mayan treatments at the "Maya Spa" and fantastic regional cuisine in the restaurant (which does have electricity, as does the lobby). When sunbathing on the beach of Cabanas Copal clothing is optional. Families are welcome here, but remember there are no organized activities for kids, and nude sunbathing does occur.
