This all inclusive resort was designed by a Mexican architect who understood the local environment, and used local products and his knowledge of the area in order to create a resort that did not destroy the wildlife but blended with the surrounding. This was done develop sustainable tourism to the Riviera Maya and Tulum, and not destroy the beautiful natural mangroves and jungle, or the beach and reef for that matter.
The guestrooms at the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum Akumal Coba are divided among three story villas, and feature either a lovely view of the Caribbean Sea or of the lush tropical gardens. Whichever room you are in whether it is a standard or a junior suite you aren't going to be far from the beach, the activities, the restaurants and the stunning turquoise Ocean.
There are a whole host of fantastic activities to enjoy including snorkeling, banana boat rides, volley ball, dance classes, horseback riding and much more. There are a lot of cool activities and day trips both in Tulum and the Riviera Maya to be enjoyed as well.

The Gran Bahia Principe Tulum Akumal Resort and Spa is located about one hour south of Cancun International Airport (CUN) in the Riviera Maya. If you fancy a day out in Playa del Carmen then it will take you around thirty minutes to get there, and the Tulum ruins are just twenty minutes further south. The Gran Bahia Principe is also close to Coba.
