There are lots of Tulum hotels on the beach to choose from. The majority of hotels in Tulum are located in an area called the Tulum Hotel Zone. This is basically a beachside road that runs parallel to Caribbean Sea. Here you find all the small Cabana hotels and beach clubs right on the sand.  It’s not a Hotel Zone like the one in Cancun, this is much more rustic and the majority of Tulum Hotels on the beach are mad using local woods and natural fibres. The whole are has a very eco feel, although in recent years it has become a bit more eco-chic and prices for the Tulum hotels have significantly increase. You can stay find a wide range of prices for the Tulum hotels on the beach, ranging from quite cheap at Cabanas Copal to more expensive at Azulik or mid range prices at Cabanas Los Lirios. The common theme with all these hotels is that the produce their own electricity and are all located on right on the beach in Tulum, so you’ll be able to fall asleep to the gentle sound of the waves and the cool breeze from the trade winds.
